Not as good of deal as brand new one, but typically woot used are in great condition.

The 1st gen Echo for $30 seems good. As for this one, word on the street is that failure rates are high.

I got the echo remote for 5$, could be handy when I am in another room.

I have both the first and second gen Echo show. The 1st gen holds up pretty closely to the 2nd gen, I would definitely not want to pay double to get the 2nd gen.

Seems like a good idea, but I have two and have literally never used them. I paired one of them and now it lives in a box without batteries. The other one just happened to come with a fire stick.

Back up again.

But don't be tempted. These first gen Echo shows have real problems with the screen freaking out and dying. Hence, all the refurbs.
