I really think Arlo is making a mistake releasing these at such a high price point. Not even factoring in the poor battery life or the fact that after the first free year of the subscription that is REQUIRED you're on the hook for a monthly subscription fee to even use the cameras...So do you even really own them lol?

I think the Arlo pro 2 was on the high side but the product justified the cost and at least you get 5 free on the system before you need to pay a monthly fee.

The market that can afford 1k for cameras when you can get the same type of system, all be it not 4k, from blink for 1/4 the cost cant be enough to support a whole company.

Right, Arlo came out with a product which batteries last 8 minutes. God damn, this is idiotic.
