With bestbuy offer(not available now), you'll only get the body, 2 lenses, carrying bag and sd card. So this is technically better

Definitely not, the Bestbuy deal has 55-250mm F/4-5.6 IS STM which is significantly sharper than the 75-300mm. All the other added items are what photographers get as freebies from buying stuff. Flash is useless (you're better off using built in). Those macro/tele and wide angle "lenses" are junk as they won't give you good image quality. The tripod can more or less break within a year or two. Filters will affect your image quality (too cheap). The remote trigger is useless as you can use canon connect app to wirelessly trigger this camera. The only useful ones are the software (if you don't have any), the cleaners (but are cheap enough to buy by themselves) and the SD card.

As a photographer, I'd suggest get the Bestbuy deal with the much better telephoto lens.

I agree 100%, I got the 75-300mm lens with my T6 and got the chance to borrow a friends 55-250mm lens and it is substantially better.
That lens alone makes the BB deal better, even if you dont want the telephoto lens the resale value on it would easily outweigh all the free, questionably made accessories.

So the other guy said the lens selection on Bestbuy if better, so disregard. Bestbuy deal is no longer available btw

Bought this bundle from B&H Photo two years ago.

Protip: October Canon's yearly clearance sale. Perfect time to pick up any spare lenses you need. There WILL NOT be a second sale for Black Friday and the official Canon Black Friday sales are kinda meh.

That all said, I have been having an amazing time with the camera. Always check Canon's website to see if there's an active Rebate (they do mailer rebate cards within about 5 weeks). Just make sure you cut off all the UPCs (Take a photo for your own records/warranty)

how do you compare the zoom lens that comes with this with 55-250mm IS II lens?

Night and day better. The 55-250 is auto zoom and image stabilization. The 70-300...is just a lens.

The 55-250mm is still manual zoom, unless you meant focus, in which case both lenses have auto focus. The IS is the main dividing factor along with a faster AF motor. Overall imagine quality is a bit better at all zoom levels too, especially the long end.

If the lense is actually the EF-S version, you'll get a whole lot more use out of it than a 55-250. The 75-300 is a very nimble lense and costs about $75 for a Canon refurb from the website (which is about the same you'd pay for any used lense) New is about another $20-$40.
The 18-55 is for anything within 30 feet or so, unless you want a larger aperature for scenery/bokeh. You'll have plenty of fun with this kit, but a nifty 50 (I think it's 58mm on a crop sensor) is your next and best friend. I also got a 500mm-1000mm astrophotography lense (single pipe, manual focus) for about $50 on Amazon, as well.
