Link claims 100 m water resistance , how accurate is this? not much experience with Seiko.

Is quartz so accuracy is good, probably looking at +-2 seconds a month. Seiko is a good company, I own 2 seiko mechanical watches.

Leather is going to look horrible once you out it in water, otherwise should be fine, they make a lot of diver watches too

This is not too far from the average price for this watch, not particularly slick.

Seiko is a confusing brand to people who aren't big into watches because they make some extremely inexpensive models that people often know their brand for, but they offer watches into the many thousands of dollars price range. If you're going to stick with only one company as a catch-all watch brand, its probably your safest bet. The only thing to be aware of is that many of their under $200 watches do not have sapphire crystals and can be scratched up if you're not somewhat mindful of that.

I tend to Rotate my Watches based on a lot of factors, day of week/outfit/function. so this is diffidently something to keep in mind, thank you
