How are you supposed to flush mount this TV to the wall with that bo-hunk one connect box attached to the back of the unit? I have another Samsung with the One Connect and it's not easily hidden.
You don't put the one connect box behind your tv. You run the really thin cable through the wall to your media center. The cable is 15m long.

I seriously don't understand who the market is for this and why. Their performance [rtings.com]is on par with other low-mid budget LCD's that are 1/3rd or 1/4th the price and they still clearly look like cheap LCD's both on and off. If you actually want a digital mural, these prices are literally within spitting distance of LG's OLED's whose art gallery app can legitimately look like a framed work at first and second glance thanks to the significantly higher quality of the image and viewing angles...something a garden variety VA panel LCD can't even pretend to boast. Even aesthetically there are much more appealing and modern looking displays than these, most of which have the performance and technology to back up the price. If I were to buy up a bunch of $300 NU6900's on BF and bedazzle the bezels you think I could move them for $999?

I have the 2018 and 2019 models of this TV. Great for living room. Terrible for man cave.
Which model do you prefer? Thanks in advance

Why? Please explain
Not a great movie watching TV. Man cave needs a high end QLED or OLED.

I still love the TV and I have the 2019 model. They give you less art work though but you can upload more from your phone. Great casual tv for sports, video games, and tv shows. Looks incredible if you have a nice living room and you like to class it up a bit. Always get compliments.

I need two of the 65" models. Questioning whether I should wait till Black Friday deals are released or jump on this deal now. I saw on a different thread that Samsung was selling them for 1399 and giving away free Bezels about 2 weeks ago (I missed that deal). Anyone have insight on what they could potentially be on BF yet?

I would definitely wait for BF deals. They are practically here.

Didn't have much past the pushy sales person who spammed my email incessantly. Not sure how warranty works when you pay the middle man. I suggest everyone does a hard pass

Trying to digest that giant paragraph. Do you have any specific recommendations beyond LG oled, I'd be curious to look into them.

If you're just wanting a TV and not an art piece, the Hisense H8F notably outperforms this Frame for a fraction of the price. If you wanted to step up to a real HDR set, the TCL 625 and Hisense H9F are around half the price of the Frame and significantly outperform it. If you're wanting a high end LCD, the Samsung Q80 and Q90 are the best options (depending on what kind of sale prices you can find). That wasn't just trolling rhetoric, this product genuinely makes no sense at its price. If you actually want a digital mural, buy a flush mount and an OLED or Q80/Q90. The Frame doesn't have anywhere near the image quality to pull off a convincing display. If you just want a TV, there are several other models that are 2x-3x better for 1/2 or 1/3rd the price.

I am curious if your opinions are based on the original 2017 model or the 2019 model, as they completely changed panels between the two.

Sorry but a static art image on an oled is a terrible idea. I agree the picture is better but if 90% of the time you show the same image I would be concerned with burn in
