Literally just installed one yesterday after buying it from Amazon for $199 last week (d'oh!).

Took all of 10 minutes, would have taken less if I didn't need to dig up a channel lock to remove pentagon nut holding down the plate on top of my water meter.

Very impressive tech, worked flawlessly and very accurately. Picked it up to keep an eye on a vacation home, now that I can grab one from Stack Social I'll get it for my primary house as well.
I'm confused. I thought ordering wasn't working

What time did you order? I've been trying for the past 45 minutes without luck
Couple of minutes before I posted. I used my phone, not sure if that helped.

Issue with this is that it serves no purpose if your toilet is clogged and overflows. If this had integration with smart things or wink via zigbee or zwave
I have a zwave hub (Vera) and there's no integration but you get a notification if an alert fires. I picked up a Dome water valve shutoff that's zwave capable so that I could manually go in and cut off the water supply if there's a problem.

Of course, the dopey dome broke the first time I tried to turn the valve off as a test, but that's unrelated to this...

Great device, showed me that my supposed 1.6 gpf toilet was using 3x that amount. Also showed that my old top loader washing machine is a big user. New toilet on its way, and my county, like many, offers rebate for low gpf units. Flume can make you more water efficient and with leak detection capability can potentially save big bucks.

I had no issue at all ordering. Had to disable my adblocker and didn't use Paypal, though.

Some people have very huge toilets
Is it because they are full of crap?

How long was it running that you didnt notice? The average price of water in the United States is about $1.50 for 1,000 gallons. So you would have to have your toilet run and waste 400,000 gallons to get hit with a $600 bill.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a contactless flow meter.
Main splits to two units shared utility and I'd like to know cosumption per unit.

Lol this thing is taking "smart homes" way too far. Just look at your freaking bill and stop wasting water.
I wish there was a facepalm emoji, you realize this can alert you to leaks before they cause thousands of dollars in damage. Doh
I've had one for about 4 months and it's been great since. Also great for knowing when you're getting ripped off as I live in a town that has a history of overcharging for water usage.

Make sure you pop in our email and at bottom check you are "18 or older". Should allow checkout. I was a little confused at first too as normally Paypal alone gets you through this checkout step.
