The Vizio V series (Costco) and TCL 4 series (Bestbuy and Target) will be $399.99 on Black Friday. Each are likely better options and it saves $20.

Either of these actually obtainable, like not having to wait in line for the store to sell 10 of them?

For Bestbuy and Target, that's a good point. I'm not sure.

For Costco, it's not even solely Black Friday. It should be very attainable. They will begin offering the 65 inch Vizio V series for $399.99 beginning Nov 22nd and it'll be available for order in the store and online. Personally, I'd favor the V series anyway. The TCL 4 series is an incredibly dim TV.

The price I'm seeing for this item is $379.99 (seller is Walmart). I'm not sure about the quality of this TV. I'd spend a little more for a Hisense or TCL if it were me. This Sanyo is made by Funai, which also makes electronics for numerous other brands such as Philips.

Regardless, it really is crazy that you can buy a brand new Roku TV with a 65" screen for under $400.

Price is down to #380 now. That and as the other person was worried some may not want to fight to get a TV or have a costco membership.

But still good options for those looking as well.

You'll be more amazed to see a $279 Element 65" Roku tv from target for thanksgiving. Sure you would've to fight it out to get one. Electronics my friend!

Walmart had several "Brand X" or "former name brands that lost their identity years ago and are now just fronts for Chinese manufacturers" 65" TV's for $380 - $420 last I checked. Hard to say exactly who really made each one and which ones have better / worse quality. Does Sanyo as a brand name mean anything any longer? I don't think the RCA, JVC, or Sharp names are indicative of a certain level of quality any longer. I'm not sure about Phillips.

$380 Sceptre [walmart.com]

$380 Sanyo
[walmart.com]

$400 JVC [walmart.com]

$400 RCA [walmart.com]

$410 RCA
[walmart.com] I'm guessing this is the same as the $400 RCA but with "smart"/Roku functionality.

Without examining them in much detail, of those five I guess I'd probably opt for the Sanyo in the hopes that the name still signifies some level of product quality, but who knows. At least it's only $380.

Yea for TVs like this I look at the reviews and also the hard specs. Names don't mean much, like you said they are all made in some Chinese plant probably beside each other in varying degrees.

This Sanyo looked good based on the specs and its also a Roku TV. I and other family have had good experience with Roku based TVs.

Refresh rate - 60Hz for a 4K tv. Too less if you intend to use it for gaming ?

Native refresh rate is 60Hz for most TVs unless you go OLED, QLED
