Here's the video link to the Thundercats intro and end credits. It's arguably the best intro in the history of a TV animated series: the superb animation and the goosebump-inducing theme song. The instrumental end credits is awesome as well with the electric guitar!

This series holds way way more than GI Joe, Transformers, or He-man... animation was ahead of its time too..
It really does hold up, and there was nothing else like it in America. This was by far my favorite show as a kid.
I'm not 100%, but I want to say this was the seed that grew my love of anime and other adult animation.
You can do anything...the craziest sci-fi hypotheticals and fantasy dreamscapes, the super dark and psychologically twisted.
You don't need an Avengers sized budget to make a mind-blowing animated movie. This is key...and the creators actually get to stay true to their vision, where you need editors to reshape a blockbuster movie to suit the majority of people.
