Any 75" deals on the Q80?
10 Helpful?
LG C9 65" owner here. Personal feedback, if your room has a lot of sun light the LCD panels like q80/90 that can turn up to high brightness might be a better bet. My living room, depending on time of day direct sun light hits the tv - bright scenes come out just fine, but if you're watching dark scenes it can get drowned out by sun light

Also burn in - while it may not be as serious as people make it out to be - C9 has bunch of things like automatic logo dimming around the stationary logos, panel refresh when you turn it off etc. I think burn-in is more of a mental of hurdle now - can you not be paranoid?

That being said I love my C9. It's a thing of beauty. The picture is amazing, it's razor thin. I've got it integrated with Google assistant to power off etc by talking to my Google hub max. I can use it as a frame (picture/wallpaper) display tv etc. Sometimes I just run the OLED demo on YouTube and stare at it. Lol

Hope that helps...good luck.

edit: also mind blown moment was when watching something and a black transition scene came...the room went pitch black like was sitting in my room in the dark - no glow, no glare nothing...you couldn't tell the tv was on until the next scene came.

This.

I've got an OLED in my bedroom, where I have blackout curtains. So I can make the room as dark as I want. In that room, OLED is amazing.

But in my family room, we've got a lot of windows. An OLED wouldn't look all that impressive during the day time in that room. So for that room, we bought the Q80 in this thread.

Here's a comparison in rtings.com. Don't just look at the overall score. Look for the specifics that matter most to you. And don't always assume that a higher score from rtings.com means you would agree as to which they gave the higher score. I picked the Q80 over some "superior" sets because the ability to handle reflections mattered a lot to me. In fact, the C9 gets a better score for reflections than the Q80, but I prefer how the Q80 handles them.

But the brightness is a pretty massive difference between C9 and Q80. Again, in a dark room, won't matter. But in a room with a lot of light, it certainly could.

Any idea who the seller is? I'm not familiar with this site and it's brokerage service.

Hey are these new units or refurbished, open-box? How do you know they ship from Samsung Authorized Dealers? Have you used this site before?

This is the official customer service account for PriceWaiter (the site in question). All of the units are new in unopened original packaging and shipped from Samsung Authorized Dealers. By not advertising who our retailers are, we're able to provide steeper discounts. Once an order is placed and tracking information is submitted you will see which of these authorized dealers your TV is shipping from:

If you are even one day outside of their warranty, samsung will not help you out. My Samsung tv died one week after the warranty.
