Yeah, I'd jump on this in a heartbeat, but I keep going to Canada on work and want to ensure connectivity.
Question - what economical alternatives exist for MVNO subscribers to stay connected in Canada?
Cricket $55 plan included roaming in Canada
att prepaid $50 plan included roaming in Canada
They both offer discount when you autopay

WiFi calling on my Pixel 3 unlocked (from Google store) works great with this plan.

how do people get by with 3GB of LTE data per month?

i use between 60GB - 80GB per month with my T-Mobile unlimited plan
Easy, just don't stream video, or only do it on wifi, which is available in most places.

pretty Sure this one is per month. In the Terms and Conditions it states
" 8.6 Data Usage Level. Ultra Mobile has set a 30-day 4G data usage level ("Usage Level") for each of its Service plans. For purposes of these T&Cs, "4G" means minimum data speeds equal to the lesser of (i) an average of 1.0 mbps over a 30-day service term, or (ii) the average network speed in your market over a 30-day service term as dictated by Ultra Mobile's network supplier (over which Ultra Mobile has no control). Our network supplier measures your upload and download data usage ("Actual Usage") to determine if your total Actual Usage, as aggregated over the applicable 30-day period ("Usage Total"), exceeds the 30-day 4G Usage Level for the Service plan you selected. Please note that "Actual Usage" includes all of your requests to upload or download data, "

Sounds good. I had super bad time with T-Mobile at my work area. Even tried their hotspot device but it did not work. I am hoping, as far as this network supports wifi calling then I should be fine. I am super happy with Google fi service. But if this network works out fine through wifi calling then I am good to go.

ATT doesn't own tower in Canada, they usually roam off Roger which is not part of ATT
You misunderstood me with the second section, I was saying that at&t prepaid and cricket are owned by at&t. I wasn't referring to the towers. The person I had quoted said "prepaid" and I think they meant mvno/reseller which normally don't have roaming agreements. The two I mentioned are actually owned by the MNO, so more unique with roaming than most.
