$350-$399 for GFX
Memory is $65-$95, I wouldn't say 50.
I would also say the cooler is at least $75.
SSD should be higher than 50 also.

Lastly, you're not getting a 850W power supply unit and medium case for $100, so your estimates are way under.

A lot of the $1000 builds don't include windows 10 either. Granted you can be a pirate, but for a legit person, rarely are the $1000 builds including an OS.

This is easily a $1200 build if you tried to build it yourself. I was above 1100 before I even looked at power supplies and cases among other parts. The MB/GFX/CPU/RAM combined are easily costing you $900-950+. You still need a 500GB SSD, Liquid Cooler, Chassis, 850W Power Supply Unit, and operating system - bye bye another $350-$450 ontop of the original $900-950+.

As for people saying "wait for next gen" blah blah blah. You can literally say this about _ANY_ computer at _ANY_ point of time. That is how technology works......

Good deal,

The motherboard, GFX card, SSD, RAM and processor alone are $1,100 combined from NewEgg.

That doesn't include the case, liquid cooling, DVD-RW, power supply and other parts.

I think you'd be hard pressed to find better specs at a better price.

You can argue the liquid cooling is a gimmick since this is a z370 board with a locked CPU. That is about it.

The omens are known to run hot due to poor case thermals. This is also a completely better graphics card in the dell. It should also be noted that the omen is not water cooled.

$100 cheaper than deal a few weeks ago. Can get 4% cashback as well. Comes out to about what it would cost to build it yourself.

There are some disadvantages with this versus building your own, however. Read up on noise complaints with these machines. Overall doesn't seem to be up to the usual Alienware standard.

If I was going to build something like this I would probably get a Be Quiet! case, some nice quiet fans, a name brand mother board and nicer ram and spend about the same amount of money for a whisper quiet system with some overclocking headroom.

Had incorrect Omen. This is the one with BF deal - https://www.bestbuy.com/site/hp-o...Id=6349466

Don't need the 1TB HDD in Omen. Dell has 512GB SSD compared to 256GB. Concerned about the noise from GPU - https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/AMD...ating/4045

The Alienware has a better GPU. It is the better system.

Its actually closer to a 2070 Super. I have a G-Sync monitor so this deal is a no go for me.

When I add to the cart, I don't see the DVD drive mentioned in the post. Is the SD post wrong in the specs? or am I missing something here?
