USB c to lighting not just usb type a (aka Normal usb for phone, keyboard, etc anything with a power nub(brick)) to lighting. The difference is usb c to lighting supports the 18 watt plus charging also called PD. Where as usb normal think iPad 12watt caps out at 2.4amp (5v) aka 12 watts. So these charge faster. And are newer aka there's not nearly as much flooding the market. 3 months ago it was $18 for a cheap anker etc or the full whammy from Apple. I'm sure someone wants to be a smart ass behind me and explain further there are different versions of PD certified and not all are created equal. But I don't want to go into all that nit picking. Just know this is cheap. And google the rest that doesn't matter for this application. Unless we are talking power banks and the new Samsung note10 which is different etc.
