bought this the other day, be aware the 60 wide is actualyl 55 (written right on the package), and its only 55 if you forcibly stretch it, its 50 if you dont. Its not wide enough for more than 1 person.

What does it use instead of glass beads? Does it have a removable cover?

Bead Material: SiO2 (Silica Sand)

USER INSTRUCTION: This is an inner weighted blanket without the cover, finished by selected cotton and high-density poly pellets, breathe freely, soft and comfortable; better dry clean or hand-wash to get them clean. Purchasing and using a duvet cover together for easy cleaning is highly recommended.

All right in the listing

I bought this one the other day! It's arriving Friday. It's fancier than most blankets as this one is cotton and doesn't have glass beads.
I thought glass beads are better to use than plastic in the blanket?

Not glass beads and no cover, dang, the search continues, but hopefully not for much longer with BF creeping up.

Wouldn't this be a better deal:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NS9DB4P

-same weight (15lbs)
-larger twin size
-similar price after 5% coupon + prime card 5% (if you have it)
-glass beads instead of plastic
-better reviews and A on Fakespot
