Edit, there are two versions of this. There is the R4513 ($299) and the R4514 ($399).
The R4513 looks like it's been around all this time and being replaced by the R4514. Notice the differences between them are small. The motor and other specs seem identical but the housing is less plastic and has tubing surrounding it on the R4514. It also appears to be more open and even the stand is a bit different with the leveling feet.
R4514 on left ($399) / R4513 on right ($299)
I don't really have anything negative to say about my Ridgid. I just sent the link to my brother who currently has mine as a hint to give it back.
I'm planning on ripping multiple 4/4 walnut boards this afternoon and can update with results from my experience. That said, my other / previous table saw is the least expensive Ryobi I could buy about 6-7 years ago. The Ryobi struggles ripping walnut. So, we'll see - I don't really have the best comparison, but I'll update what I find either way. I'm hoping for fairly consistent and accurate cuts, but I'd think that would be anyone's hope. (I'm ripping the boards to then plane & biscuit them together for kitchen cabinet fronts. The walnut came as #2 with one already planed side & one already squared side - I just have to rip off the other side, and then plane to the correct thickness for the cabinets)
I'll be using a Freud Rip Blade: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&
Edit: If there's something you'd like me to specifically check, let me know and I'll check it out / take photos / report back.
