These are excellent headphones, but they do not form a seal in your ear like many other earphones do, and thus they do NOT block ambient noise. This is perfect for many activities (thus the "sport" in the name) where you want to be able to hear what's going on around you. I have a pair I use when hiking, and just bought another pair as spares because of how good they are.

Just Google for reviews. They can all be had for significantly less on aliexpress if you are the patient type, along with many other options. The Blons the other guy mentioned are the best in the price range but FYI the cord and tips are not great so I hesitate to recommend them to a beginner.
