Anyone have any hands on with this? The reviews seem to indicate the screen is kinda meh at best. Any better options for the price if screen quality and size is the priority over some of the other niceities in this this unit?

It has a hard drive instead of a SSD which are more common in Chromebooks. The back lit keyboard is a nice touch. Must have access to Google play store.

It has eMMC, not a hard drive.

4.3 lbs and 10 hrs of battery life. A little too big and heavy for me, definitely not going to be lugging this everyday. But if you like a big screen why not?! I find 3.5 lbs to be max weight for daily use.

Not sure if an Octane score of 34,000 is even necessary with a Chromebook. I'd be afraid of it sending me back in time while using it!!!!SmilieSmilie

Model number is wrong, Walmart.com list is cb715-1wt-39hz.

According to Acer specs it IPS 15.6" and full metal. Professional based chromebook.

Hence why it heavy.

Definitely getting one

4GB ram is a deal-breaker for me unless this can be upgraded, which I doubt. This supports Android apps. 4GB is ok for light use and web browsing and most apps. However, I have a Chromebook with 4GB ram and really wish I had more, especially when installing Linux Apps (not sure if this supports that)

Yes, I now consider a 15.6 incher a desktop computer. I'm always horizontal when I'm using my Chromers so I still prefer 11.6 combined with some high quality reading glasses.Smilie
