It is not for wood. Nor does it have HDMI.

While I have a wet saw (actually two), I prefer the score and snap method for all straight cuts. It's much quicker and leaves a cleaner line because the saws tend to chip away at the porcelain.

Stand doesn't seem substantial, anyone with experience using it?

I used this saw and it's a great deal at $99.00. I just placed it on a homemade table and had zero issues.

I've been using mine for a kitchen remodel. Zero issues with the stand. I only wish I had purchased one with a sliding table to make small cuts easier.

Anyone considering doing tile should just get this. Especially job like a subway back splash. Tile Breaks just don't cut it, no pun intended. I was much faster to saw every cut i needed.

Seems like it would be very hard to get accurate cuts without a sliding table? How well does the fence work with mesh mounted mosaic tile?

You wouldn't be able to keep it tight to the fence. Pushing mesh bound mosaic against the blade wouldn't work well regardless.
