Looks really good deal, isn't it? No state taxes. Anyone has pulled the trigger?

I bought mine and configured a bunch of upgrades. Called customer service because my account screen said pending the transaction; they said it's normal until the unit ships. Paid just under 3k for my configuration saving about 250$ in price and another 300$ in taxes.

Is it legitimate? What's your opinion?

Wanted to provide an update,

I ordered 2.4 processor with 2TB and laptop will be here this friday, will update again then

Shipping was on par with what apple was quoting originally, ,and this ended up being a good $300 less than the educational pricing at apple, i've already received my confirmation of apple care, directly from apple

Yeah it actually showed on 11/27, new in box of course, looks like it was shipped from china to utah, and then shipped to me.

I'm very pleased with the service of expercom and the machine itself, coming from a 2015 15" it's the same footprint practically but a whole lot faster and overall a nice laptop
