Watches over 40mm for men is mostly a recent trend.

40 years ago, a common size for a male watch was around 34mm. Back then this would have been considered a large time piece.

It's kind of sad to see how insecure in our masculinity some us have become.

Seems like a nice price for a branded Swiss quartz. It is mineral but that's pretty much a given at this price range.

I would go as far as to say that the big watches are going the way of the mullet.

I wouldn't get this quartz version. They've the automatic version going for $159 I think. That has authentic ETA 2824-2. The movement itself cost more that the selling price. The automatic version is a better buy.
