I own This exact bag, i cant comment on how long it might last for because i bought mine at the end of last years ski season, seems durable enough, but it does have a dedicated goggle pocket lined with microfiber cloth, i thought that was pretty neat. mine was $72 after tax, so this seems to be a good deal comparatively.

Should be noted for those that have never flied before. When checking in your snowboard/ski's a second bag of skiboots/helmet is allowed and is counted as "one bag" (with two tags). Check with your airline to be sure. But it is usually the case. Anyway I use my gym duffle bag for my boots and helmet. Don't really need a specific bag to fly. So if you have a large bag you can save yourself 50 dollars

Can the boots helmet and jacket be stuffed in the snowboard Bag? and be counted as 1 as well?

Looks like strap separating from bag is a consistent failure mode of this bag for the last three years, judging by reviews.

Forty-four 1-star reviews on Amazon -- handle breaks and warranty not honored. Fakespot grade A, though, so maybe some are made correctly. Look for bad stitching (zippers, handle) before end of return period if buying at amazon (which offers free returns). Does buydig take returns?

Yes you can do that too. Most airlines allow and additional bag at no cost to be checked in. Just need to be accompanied with a ski/snowboard.

Great bag... Wife and I have one. Worth the $50. Been using it for 4 years with no issues. Brought on ski trips (planes) with no issues.

Even more. I can fit 2 pairs of skis into ski bag and 2 pairs of ski boots into IKEA zippered bag and it will be slightly below 50 lbs altogether, i.e. 1 checked bag. Very helpful for the family trip. Although some airlines specifies "1 pair of skis", read "small print". United says "2 pairs of ski". Usually no one checks. I have a friend who fits 4 pairs of skis into a single bag, removing bindings :-) He has family of 4.

Same here, but I bought mine at the beginning of last year's season and I love it. I paid same price for it. I usually put my goggles in the helmet for more protection.

I would get a gear back instead. Something that holds boots, helmets, goggles, etc. If you do want a boot bag, cheaper and better ones on Amazon

I've shoved a snowboard, boots, bindings, helmet, pants, towels, goggles, gloves and a boot dryer all in my snowboard hard case (sportube). If the airline would have given me shit I had an extra bag ready to go for carry on. I was also ready with reasons why I combined the boot bag into my case and that everything in there was 1) under the 2 bag combined weight allowed 2) all sports gear used for snowboarding 3) towels were wrapped around the snowboard for added protection.

I've done this with Delta several years ago and last season with Southwest.
