tl;dr ASRock is nice. But rgb might kill it for you.

Meh.. I have an ASRock 1st Gen AM4 and it's solid... But Jesus Christ the rgb caused me a migraine!

Early on. I turned off the rgb. For obvious reasons.

Few months ago I stupidly decided 'hey let's turn it on!!' and turns out /something/ seriously fricked up. Contacting support got me some instructions on how to fix it, which required intensive googling because it was not simple. No. No it was not.
ANYWAY... Forgot how, but I got it to turn off and won't touch it again.

So good luck if you care about your rgb.

I've never seen an optional feature be something that would be a "killer" for someone. 🤷 ♂️. could always just set any and all LEDs to red if it's in your bedroom, as that's supposedly helpful for promoting sleep.

Am4 is seeing slow EOL in favor of the threadripper x series, Intel will take 10th gen to a new socket too in a couple of years. This is why you will see mobos under $100

I think that's a micro ATX while this is ATX. Double check me on that.
