Walmart has the same Price!!

FYI: Whole Earth Farms pet food is manufactured by Merrick Pet Care Inc. The Merrick company is best known for its main brand of pet food, which is simply called Merrick.

The Whole Earth Farms brand was introduced by the company in 2010. The primary difference between the two brands (Whole Earth Farms vs. Merrick) is the protein content and the price.

Merrick brand name pet foods are typically more expensive. Merrick brand name products also contain a higher protein content. Simply put, Whole Earth Farms is the lighter version of Merrick.

For small dogs and cats, the cost difference between the two brands would be insignificant. However, for medium and large breed dogs, switching from Merrick to Whole Earth Farms could yield significant savings.

NOT MERRICK ANYMORE!!! It's now owned by Purina, the garbage central of pet food!

do NOT buy this- if you read the reviews on amazon you'll notice they changed the food and it's gotten a LOT of pups sick.

The pitty/bull dog mix is 60ibs.
pitty/akita mix is 75ibs (she is overweight tho, and the alpha dog so tends to eat a little more from the other's bowl).
Akita/rough coated collie mix is 80ibs.

WOW!! 200 lbs of dogs. That is crazy!! I can see why this is a good deal. You may want to do a mix of grain free and regular so its 50/50. Full grain isn't the best. Sure you know that. Just a suggestion. Wave

You say that but many of the reviews have noticed that the kibble has changed since the purina bought them. Adverse reactions suggest the composition and/or quality of the food has gone downhill too, to the point of making many dogs sick.
