How would this work for general purposes and light gaming?

I'm a software developer that casually games (Arena, HS, CIV6).

I have been searching for a monitor for a while and tend to research a planned long term ownership product heavily. I purchased this one with an adjustable stand. Here are my thoughts for anyone else on the fence in case this helps (I am coming from a 27" WQHD TN Monitor (which I hate the TN part). For my purposes, the IPS panel and relatively low price won me over. This panel has a high enough refresh rate for casual gaming (no FPS) and WFH and it is bright enough. What I found in research said anything with a 250 cd/m was good enough in a panel. I went with the adjustable stand however I wish it went lower as it is a bit too high....Not sure ultimately if I will keep it as it is really big even pushed back as far as I can get on my desk.... (if I don't keep it, I will find a 27" IPS that is relatively affordable and meets needs for casual gaming). I really liked the new Dell S3220 but the curved display scared me for work purposes - flat wins me over though I do understand why curved is appealing on a larger display as I try to get used to this one.

I wound up returning this. I got used to the size fairly quickly but it was a tad too high for it to be considered ergonomic (the key reason for buying the one with the adjustable stand). Pro's as I saw this: reasonable price, though not spectacular given BF, IPS panel, PIP/PBP, software control. Neutral/Negative: Adjustable stand - does not lower enough and I could not adjust anything else to make it work; text did not look as sharp as it did on the replacement that I got ; speakers (ok they met expectations which were low); lack of inputs (another HDMI input in lieu of the VGA one would have been very helpful); did not play well with my Nvidia based window machine (even though I spent time trying to tweak it - It would not come out of sleep). I hope this helps someone else.
