I came across this while shopping for a Note 10, $250 off any Samsung, Pixel, or iPhone over 24 months as a monthly bill credit. Looks like it requires a new line and transfer of an existing number, does anyone think it's possible to upgrade an existing line using this offer?

Samsung A50 is $349.99-$250=$99.99 (before taxes, etc...).

Yes, just call them. They typically offer the same new customer deals to existing customers. Chat might work to or put you in touch with the right group for this

Recently left XM, the network is so deprioritzed for everyone that you're better off going to Visible ($25/line unlimited with tethering). In some scenarios TotalWireless is priced better. Verizon just can't handle their MVNO traffic with appropriate QoS and load-balancing. They just slam the brakes the moment congestion hits.

So I guess that means the prepaid cards they were doing are dead...

Device Credits "over 22/23 months" means you're not only locked into staying with Xfinity Mobile for 2 years to get the credit, but also locked into Xfinity/Comcast for Internet if you don't want to pay the extra they charge per month for not being a Comcast customer.

Visible is $25 for the first month, then it's $40/mo. Still more than I'd pay on Xfinity Mobile (~$14-26/mo depending on whether I use up to 1 GB of mobile data or somewhere between 1 and 2 GB) and I for one have not had any complaints about the mobile data speeds on Xfinity Mobile (although most of the time on wifi, so it doesn't matter).

Upon more digging, I suppose you're quoting the lowest-possible per line rate if you have 4 people signed up together...that sounds like a great deal!

I never had any dropped calls or slow mobile data with them. Been using the service since day one.

You're probably on the grandfathered plan with high priority. The new plans are deprioritized to the same level as TracFone.

Visible is also on Verizons network and is just as depriotized as any Prepaid, XM, Total Wireless and the orders. They give post paid the best and everyone else gets less. Plus visible just has too many issues to have it as a daily line. Bad call quality, slow data even with good signal, lots of dropped calls too.

I switched to xm a few months back and I love it. The only complain is that most of the time my phone calls never come through. The only reason I know I missed a call is if they leave a voicemail or text me to let me know they called. Everything else is great though. Also.. I'm in the midwest. Il. And have unlimited

For the people that currently have Xfinity Mobile service, what "Network mode" is your phone set to? I have it set to "Global" but I'm wondering if a different mode is better. I've tried the different modes but I don't use my phone enough to really notice a difference.

The network modes options are:
1. Global
2. LTE/CDMA
3. LTE/GSM/UMTS

To check the Network modes setting go into:
Settings > More > Mobile networks > System select > Network mode

It should be LTE/CDMA since its Verizon netwok. Btw those instructions are specific to some Android devices, and lucky for you I have LG X Charge too!
