Big Sky Tools deal of the day. Very popular saw and a popular deal on SD. They usually have a pretty good stock on these deals.

How does the Hitachi compare to a equivalent Ryobi in quality? Thanks.

I can tell you it's luck of the draw, One of my Ryobi batteries was brand new in a box that I didn't open for a few months, gift set from Home depot and the battery was bad and I was SOL.. I had a Hitachi drill for years and it worked great, so guessing it's by model for these price points..

If only it had a laser cut line

Isn't this the same saw that's currently $89 brand new at Amazon? If I was local to this store I'd jump on it, but shipping kills it for me.

Big Sky Tools is fine, it's probably the slickdeals monetizing redirects that Norton is objecting to. If you're still having problems, skip the slickdeals link and just go straight to the website and search for the item.

Also, thanks to the OP for making this abundantly clear that this is not Metabo Metabo, but the lower level Metabo HPT (Hitachi Power Tools) which used to be Hitachi.

I owned this saw at one point. Great saw but I learned real fast that sliding mitre saws are a much better option. Even if you don't need one now, go will on a future job.

I'm holding out too for a 10" sliding miter saw. Does Ryobi make a decent one or do you like it mainly for the price on BF?

I bought this more than a year ago when it was posted from big sky. Showed up without issue, looked in new/nearly new condition. I'm a light user, but it's worked well for me.

I would recommend BigSkyTools- their A conditioned goods looked brand new when I bought those. I work in the field of construction and my team uses Hitachi nailers almost all day. Shipping may be expensive, but their Hitachi tools are well worth it.
