These are smaller than 'twin' sizes. For comparison, twin runs 66 x 86 and king runs 86 x 104.

Fakespot gives the ratings an "F" with "Our engine has profiled the reviewer patterns and has determined that there is high deception involved." report. Also, reviews say the stated measurements are incorrect for the dimensions.

$24 dollars seems to be the "Slickdeals" price and not a big risk to lose if it is a subpar product.

Edit: I also see a fakespot rating of A on one of the colors so i'm not sure how that works...

Fakespot gave this a D, not an F with the company itself getting a C . Also they have a warranty and this is a very low price for a blanket of this weight. I'll take the risk... Thumbs up and thanks OP!

Never heard of a weighted blanket. What's the point of it?

It applies pressure on your whole body to help calm sensory disorders and anxiety. My daughter and wife both love them and help them sleep better. I bought this to have a backup in case something happens to our existing ones.

FYI I bought this brand 'YEMYOM' on 2/1/2019 and the blanket seems fine.

This is the one i bought - king size. Looks like its $49.99 with the coupon.

I read a lot of reviews of various weighted blankets and there were a disturbing number that talked about the tiny weights leaking out and being impossible to clean up. A few described as trying to clean glitter from a carpet.

I would like to try one but my 8 pound dog always sleeps beneath the covers of my bed and she would be trapped by one of these.

I had the same concern as you, my 12lb dog getting trapped under the blanket. She was able to get out from under a 15lb weighted blanket with no issues. Tried it a couple of times.

Thanks. Maybe I'll give one a try.
