I've had a slightly earlier Werner 21' 300lb capacity model for 9 or 10 years, and it's been a great telescoping ladder. I've used it on a couple of major home remodels, and tons of commerical A/V installs through the years. Most of the guys think it's too heavy, but after almost falling at times with fiberglass ladders I appreciate the extra weight. I'm 6'3" and 200+, and what's great is two of us can work on the ladder on the same time. This one is 22' and 375 lbs capacity per side, so even better. It's versatile, and I like how you can take off one side's extension piece to use as narrow (at top) extension ladder to reach into an attic through a drop ceiling for example. While the Little Giant was the early leader, I've never regretted buying my Werner. It has held up great for all of these years.

Home Depot has the 22ft Werner Type IAA ladders 50% off. In store pickup is free, shipping is about $30.

This is a very heavy duty ladder. It tips the scales at nearly 50lb so its not the ladder for grandma to hang picture frames but for anyone else in need of a quality ladder its a pretty good deal.

I have this ladder, it's definitely heavy and awkward to carry. But it's a good quality ladder that has lasted me years.

Just wanted to point out that the ladder in the OP is 19 feet long, fully extended. Add 3 feet of reach and you get a ladder that is called a 22 foot reach ladder.
The LG ladder at lowes is 15 feet long fully extended and is considered an 18 foot reach ladder even though it s marketed as a 17 foot ladder.

I'd wait for the Gorilla Mpx22 to go on sale again for 99 bucks. Happens yearly. I've had both, and it's a much better ladder, especially with the quick engage knobs....

Unless you need the levelers, then go with the LG. Those levelers legs can run more than 50 each, so 50 bucks more for a better ladder with two leveler legs is a good deal...

Yep, you are correct. I have the 26 ft one and that's the only downside is the weight of the beast. Think it's 8-9 pounds heavier, but even this one is not fun to move around or go through doors and such.

It is a good ladder though, especially for the price.

Little Giant seems to have more options like wheels, and single extendable legs for uneven floor. Seems to me that's the better ladder.
That single extendable leg will be the make & this the break! But then again not everyone needs that. I can use that on a job site often though. Never level...or square lol
