I see the 1050 getting hate but i just got an Asus TUF with a 1050 in it and haven't encountered a game i can't play yet. Was running RE2, Devil may Cry 5, Outer Worlds on it with no problems. Sure i had to turn down outer worlds from ultra to med~high but even at the highest settings it was playable, i just shoot for 60 fps.

Oh no the 430 dollar laptop doesn't have a 300 dollar display on it!

Specs from HP site if anyone is interested.

Looks like 220nit TN display.

This seems to be a good deal, but is a 1050 laptop really worth $430+price for an HDD in 2019?
Post says SSD. Where is HDD written? 1050 is an entry level GPU for video editing and design. While it can play games, recent ones will run pretty laughably.

What stings a little is that Ebay's 10% bucks ended last night. It would have made a deal like this better.

Don't forget to buy through the eBay App and use code TURNITAPP for $15 off.

I did this last night, it was still $449 but - $15 = $434 and earned $45 eBay bucks. So basically $389. Pretty slick imo.

For a $430 laptop, this has a really good CPU Benchmark score: 8,330
