I'm currently a Verizon customer but was trying to work a good Black Friday deal with TMobile to switch over 7 lines for the family. My searches show that nothing really fruitful was out last year but I was hoping they'd have some of those "buy out" offers as 3 of the lines have phone payments still remaining.

Anyway, anyone expecting anything in that ballpark with tmobile this year?

I'm a current TMO customer and I'm looking to see what deals they are going to have on their plans.
Hopefully they have something good but I don't expect anything.

Last year they had a BOGO Free on adding a line, and it included two free Tmobile phones. So I got two phones and two lines for $20 a month.

The year before that they had BOGO Free on iPhones, plus double the memory upgrade for free. I got two $1000 ($2,000) phones for $752.

Definitely wait. Their Black Friday deals are incredible.

I don't expect any deals for the existing customers since this is their strategy now for a while. They will probably come up with "add new line" deals to lure more customers and that's about it.

That's why I'm hoping the deals to lure customers from other carriers will be enticing. Verizon has very lackluster deals for existing customers as well.

Agreed with most. You really never do see (in cell phone companies) Here-this deal!- for existing customers only!

Subbing to thread in hopes there is one

they have morons in charge because while they gain new subscribers, they also end up losing them at the same time as customers that want to upgrade, etc. don't find any deals and then end up porting out. laugh out loud

The local sales rep suggested that I wait for Black Friday to upgrade my iPhone X to the 11pro. I'm hoping that means that there will be a good deal for my upgrade.

Ditto. I'd rather be a year behind in phones and buy them outright rather than get raped in cell costs every month. Not leaving TMobile anytime soon and they know people won't. I'm one that doesn't need the latest and greatest. If they have a deal, great but I'm not going to jump if they don't.

i mean vzw people leaving for other carriers like the OP. surely they can't be oblivious that they are losing customers because they are more expensive and rarely have deals for existing users.
my guess is they have that Apple mentality that some people will pay more for something better (coverage)..

My issue is that everyone I know is already on T-mobile and the add-on has to be a new customer to T-mobile not just new to one's account.
