Not a bad price for a duck down vest. I recently checked out the cirruslite jacket at costco and felt that the quality (stitching, overall shape/design, zippers) were pretty bad compared to my Columbia Voodoo Falls 590 Vest that I recently picked up for $46. I believe the eddie bauer is $43 after a 25% off coupon on Amazon.

The Costco stuff seems like it's not as nice as the stuff you get straight from the EB store, but who knows. I feel like my CirrusLite jacket is at least as good as my girlfriend's Columbia. It not as nice as her Mountain Hardware jacket, though.

Never had a vest before. Do you wear and prefer them over coats with sleeves? Look nice, but I'm afraid my arms will be cold. (Sorry for the silly amateur vest questions.)
