RIDGID 6 Gallon Portable Pancake Air Compressor Certified pre owned. $49.99 free shipping
I purchased this for $60 a week before the price dropped to $50. So I'll answer a few questions that were posted....
1) this ships in a brown box with a sticker on the side with the model number, contents, etc. It shipped directly in its recon retail box (not a box within a box). The packing tape they use is not the best (my packages from them are always half open). They used expanding foam packets inside to protect the compressor.
2) it is not 61 pounds. It is big for a pancake compressor but nowhere near 61. If I had to guess I would say 25-35 or so.
3) it looks brand new, I cannot find one mark, scuff or scratch anywhere on it. Besides the small recon branding on the plastic handle
4) I already managed to register it on the ridgid warranty site without a problem.

I'm going with this compressor because of the 5.1 SCFM rating, compact and quiet.
Seems like a great deal if you only need the compressor but I need a 16ga nailer too. Having a hard time saying no to that craftsman deal at Lowes that includes 3 tools for $199. Rigid is probably a better name brand but I won't be doing this professionally either. Buying the rigid 16 ga nailer and separate hose pretty much brings me up to $200. Any opinions out there on my dilemma?
newbi question. I have used screws and flathead nails with a hammer. Never used a nail gun, just bought this compressor. Can someone suggest a not very expensive nailer I should buy with this? Common use would be fence repair. Shed build. Or small woodworking projects

If you are needing the nailer I would stick with your plan of getting the craftsman deal. If you compare the to compressor side by side they are almost identical, I wouldn't be surprised that they are made by the same company. Try and search the internet (eBay) for a 10% off Lowe's coupon to make your deal even better.
