I was thinking the same so that's why I asked. Walmart is running the same promotion on Black Friday. I figure this way if I can't get it at Walmart, this is a back up.

Is Walmart's exactly the same? As per this Sam's is giving $400 for sure for certain models.

I will caution everyone that at this point we have nothing more than rumors (albeit from mobile desk employees) to go on. When we get the December one day event ad flyer we will have a much better idea if this same promotion is being repeated in December.

Also, there are no BF phone deals in the Sam's BF ad, so that part is definitely true.

How long do you need to be a Sam's club member to be eligible for this deal?

My "guess" is 30 days? I'll go look in the November 9 thread. I bought a membership after the last sale, may not be early enough.

FWIW, American Express had an offer of $25 back on a $45 Sam's Club membership. I think it was on both my Amex Blue Cash card and my Delta Amex card?

Someone mentioned to me 2 days ago that Groupon has a sale on a 2 year Sam's Club membership. They were going to try to stack that with Samsung Pay - they have 20% back on Groupon purchases. YMMV of course, I haven't looked at the Groupon offer.

If you bought a membership on Nov. 9 it will be 30 days by December 14. Some people were able to buy phones with a new membership, and for other people, the club invented a 30 day rule not in the offer terms. YMMV on that one.

Good luck at Walmart . Last year I learned they only have like 2-3 in stock per store. Once those are sold out then you are out of luck

Walmart is $400 only for last years models and walmart charges $50 premium on msrp
