I had the gx85 for a while and is a really nice camera. The lens selection is pretty good and with good to decent light this camera has excellent image quality. But it'll struggle in low light. So if you know that you'll be shooting a lot in low light, I'll look at one of the Sony offerings.

I just upgraded to full frame because I feel that I outgrew that camera, but it was an awesome starting camera. I recommend it if you know what you're getting.

The LUMIX cameras are really nice. We got one for my father a few years back, and it's worked out really well for him. Highly recommended!

Amazon matched the $447 price, minus the camera bag.

I would get this over Sony. Better lenses and larger selection of them. Panny and Oly have great glass, and it doesn't break the bank. Also, dual IS in some cases is hard to beat.

I have the GX85. Isn't the G85 the same camera?
