Thats must be in some getto macys neighborhood. I have items almost every week for pickup without any problem
Then you must live in one of those small towns where everyone knows each other. This was in NY.

If you don't pick up on time, Macy's employees will sign and pick up for you!
Had a helpful employee do that favor for me once when I couldn't pick up the day it was ready. Macy's will turn a blind eye and refuse to refund since you "picked it up"
For me, that'd be worth a police report and talking to the manager

I live in Miami and I agree.
But some SD'ers disagree because they live in Kansas or in a city with a very low population or 3 feet of snow so the mall is empty.
I am sure pick up experiences vary by location. I live in Minneapolis and I pick up from the Mall of America and have never had any issues with pick up, it's always been fast and convenient. I can't speak for what would happen if there were 3 feet of snow because we don't typically have snowfall events with that level of accumulation so that's never been an issue but I can say with certainty that population isn't a factor. I think some stores may just not be as convenient for pick up as others.

I bought three of these and kept one for myself. I fell so in love with it that I bought two more. I would buy more if I had anyone else to give them to

That's exactly what I thought. $120 is super jacked up price and then saying it's great sale at $19 bucks, up to 84% off ? lol laugh out loud

That pretty much exemplifies department store advertising.

These are great for the family members you don't like that stay with you, or for the bed the dog likes to lay on.

Just came from Macy's. These are only worth $20. Very thin and low quality feeling.

The Tommy Hilfinger Comforter I got a number of months ago, fluffed up after a while. I think the Red Plaid one I got today will also fluff or puff up after removing it from the package it was compressed to fit.

The biggest factor is tourism. And Miami is top 3 in the nation. I am certain that is not a factor for your state. Our Latin American tourists shop till they drop. Consumer goods cost almost 3x less here than they do in their countries. So the malls in South Florida stay crowded day and night. Especially those popular to tourists like Dolphin Mall, Aventura Mall and anything near Miami Beach.
Plus we are generally a very overpopulated city with very low education and extremely poor customer service.
So yes, I'm very skeptical to place any pick-up orders unless it's a great deal.

I was thinking the same thing!
"Hiya bob, back in again this week" 😋

My Macy's in Aventura Mall is prob top 3 in the country in sales. Prob. only topped by those in NYC and California.
