I own these. The bottom of the Skillets are not flat. If you put a tablespoon of oil in the pan it will collect around the edges.

Bought this set a couple years ago, and they are fine with occasional usage but after cooking with them a couple times a week, the nonstick coating has peeled off in spots on my most used ones. They also don't heat very evenly across the pan. If you want something that isn't a throwaway after a couple years, I'd recommend spending a little extra

I think this is the lowest (non-rebate) price we have seen for this Set.

Are these worth it or should I just stick with cast iron?

If you cook eggs, veggies or anything with medium to low heat then these are great.

I use all kinds, these are good for low to medium heat, and if you care about food presentation, food comes out pretty lol. Cast irons are nice because you can blast the heat, also put in the oven. Just make sure you take really care, they are not bomb proof. "Dirty" it with a drop of oil and paper towell before storing them.

don't trust nonstick stuff. who knows what the chemicals will be found to have done years from now. And most stainless steel stuff is made in China. I want stainless steel made in US.
Don't disagree, but what options are there? I'm all for made in the USA and IF the product is made well. I try not to buy made in China stuff, not because of their quality necessarily, but because of the government's human rights abuses.
