Quality wise, how are these compared to "The Big One Supersoft Plush Blanket" sold by Kohls?

I've never had the one from kohl's so I can't compare, but I'm 99% positive this is the blanket I have on my futon and it sucks. Yes, it is super soft and warm, but it sheds like no other onto the futon fabric, clothing, etc. Don't even think about washing it in the laundry with anything else or you will regret it deeply (as I do). I would stay far far away. I'm planning on donating the blanket or possibly just throwing it away at this point.

Nice. I might have purchased it, but Macys was recently hacked and account holder credit card information, etc. stolen. I just received a letter in the mail about it.

Thanks, this is good info if it indeed applies to these blankets. I ordered two so i would definitely like to know. Does your have the "RLL" initials embroidered in the blanket as per amcy's website photos?

Yes, just checked and it does have the RLL embroidered on the bottom middle of the blanket.

It was posted by a Staff Member directly as a FP deal. Anything that hits FP will rain in TUs as I think there's a fair amount of people who just TU anything they see on the FP as SD is an extremely high traffic site. Dunno if the deal is good or not, but just giving my take on the comment/thumbs up disparity.

Agreed. I was questioning how is this FP deal? $20 isn't THAT cheap for a plush blanket.

Exact same problem with the Kohl's ones. I hoped after a second wash it would stop but it's ruined an entire set of laundry and the fuzz would transfer to all my furniture and even my car. Have to lint roll everything I own now.
