I have this set and the quality is nice, but the bowls have the worst possible shape. They don't hold much, but they take a ton of vertical space when stacked.

Even worse, the different sizes nest extremely tightly together. Had a rude surprise when the second largest bowl got thorougly stuck inside the largest. Took a good 15 minutes to free it.

I definitely would not buy these again.

Got these about a year ago. I do really like them. Only issue is that they get very, very hot in the microwave and the bowls get hot holding soup. Be sure to use potholders removing from microwave.

I bought the same set (Lexington pattern) in April from Macy's for roughly the same price ($38.99) and I had not had any issues at all in the 2 sets I picked up. No cracks or chips and I've banged a few plates and bowls around. They are aren't light dishes though. They have some heft.

Are these bright white or more of a bone white?

I purchased this set a couple years ago, and they have held up really well. 2 things to consider are that the large square plates may be too big to spin in small microwaves, and the square plates don't have a lip. Food can easily roll off the plates. Not great for young kids. Otherwise, we really like the variety of bowl sizes. We use them for sauces, fruit, snacks, etc. Overall, would recommend.

I got the square ones. They have lasted from my 12 yr old doing dishes and knocking them around. When they first arrived about 1/3 of them were broken. Macy's chat offered me 10% off, a new set of dishes, and keep/ donate the rest. Smilie
