Not the fastest but that's cheap. Below $50 for any 512 GB SSD is rare.

I think the 970 Evo is overkill for what we need. I got the SX8200 Pro. As for ram, there are cheap deals on 16GB (2 x 8GB) so you can pick and choose. I got Crucial Smilie

How can i check if my laptop is compatible for this?
I checked the intel spec, it says pci not supported. Means this ssd isnt for me?

I bought Samsung 860 which is Sata (500mbps) while this pci ssd has higher speed. But the motherboard need to support it. I was trying to see if i can get this and return samsung 860 but mine doesnt seem to get pci.

You have PCI express. The main question is do you have physical connection for this drive.
