I have been purchasing this for months via Amazon S&S; the price this month has dropped considerably for the DUCK variety case of 24 x 3 oz cans. It normally comes in at around 38$/case. I have NEVER seen the price this low.

Combine it with S&S, Prime free shipping, etc. for a super deal. One case rang up at $14.57 with S&S 15% discount.

Always start a kitten on high quality (it doesn't taste as good). Bad reviews on high quality food typically come from owners that have fed their cats 9lives, Friskies, Blue Buffalo or some other low quality food, switching to high quality, cats usually reject it after eating McDonald's for years.

Yea can somebody familiar clarify please. I am a new kitty owner and I just want her to be safe and healthy but also want to try out several brands to see what she prefers. Thanks

This food was recommended by our Cat Vet for our older cat with lymphoma. It is supposed to have provide "low grade protein" for easier digestion.

For a new kitten, you should seek out a kitten-specific formula. If it's a "new to you" adult cat, this food should be fine, albeit expensive.

Your vet can provide more details regarding the specific needs of your feline family member.

I highly recommend http://catfooddb.com/
Lots of good info about dry and wet food.
Using that site, I was able to find food that didn't cause diarrhea in my rescue kitty. (Vets insisted she'd need to be on steroids her entire life)

This is a top rated cat food according to many different cat food rating sites. Unfortunately, our 3 year old cat didn't like it, probably partly because it's pate. In fact, she disliked this food more than any other we've tried. She's always loved Blue Buffalo Freedom Grain-Free Indoor Chicken, which is what she's eaten 95% of her life. I just wish it didn't have the carrageenan.
