$61.99 - $15 off (code 57031) = $46.99.

Combine with Chase or Amex offers if you have them on your credit cards.

I was able to get one for $44 including tax with Chase 10% offer (max $6).

Shipping should be free (at least it was for me).

One of the better wireless keyboards out there. I tried dozens of them, and this one had the best tactile feedback for a membrane keyboard.

Zero complaints about the K800 I've had for two years now. I guess if I had to find something I'd say I wish the battery life was just a bit better. However, the battery compartment is very easy to get to and the stock rechargeable AAs that it comes with can be replaced with Eneloops or any other rechargeable brand of your choice.

I tried both at BestBuy a couple of days ago. Didn't like mx keys. I'm sure it's subjective, but the K800 offered much more tactile feedback. I also love the rounded keycaps.

I love mechanical keyboards (especially cherry brown), but one thing I hate about every great mechanical keyboard I have used so far is the sharp edges on the keycaps. The keys on the K800 are really comfortable in that regard.

I just got mine a couple of hours ago bit haven't opened it yet. It felt good in the store, but I will make a final determination after using it for a few days.

I'm on my 2nd one of these keyboard and really like them (one of my kids fried the 1st one). At some point they changed it that you can't simply slide a piece off to change the batteries. The batteries on mine seem to die very quickly at this point so I think I need to replace them (bought it as a refurb from Newegg). Anyone know how to swap out the batteries (without me screwing up the keyboard)? I'd like to put in some new eneloops.

TIA

I'm kind of an idiot laugh out loud and having the same battery issue you are having. Can you dumb it down for me on how to get to the batteries?

I didn't know there was a revision that removed the easy, one screw access to battery compartment. Apologies for getting your or the OP's hopes up. Oddly enough I bought mine from the same place in the same condition as you (Newegg refurb). Logitech must have updated the design some time in the past year.

Been using the K800 daily for going on seven years now -- great keyboard for coding, or just general typing. Perfect amount of key dishing, travel, and tactile feel (and wholly silent). Other than having to replace the stock rechargeable batteries after five-ish years (with a set of AA Eneloops), it's been trouble-free.

Gonna pick me up a spare!

Wait a minute, does your keyboard not have the battery compartment visible at 3:55 in this 2019 unboxing video? [youtube.com]

Hope you can see what I'm talking about because I couldn't find any stock images of the bottom of the K800 on the revision with the new Logitech logo.

I love this keyboard so damn much. Easily 5+ years on mine. Almost wish I had an excuse to buy another one.

My initial one I had that the kids fried did have that. The refurb I have from Newegg does not have that. You're making me 2nd guess myself lol... gonna double check when I get home and report back.

Edit: Mine does have that screw and confirmed... I am an idiot.

Wait... why is everybody opening the battery compartment all the time? I've used the k800 for at least 4-5 years now, and I never open it. Put rechargeable batteries in there, and just recharge with USB cable.

As for the keyboard, I use to use keyboards such as Das Keyboard with the mechanical switches, and although those were amazing, I also love the k800. Keys that light up when you move your hand close to it. F keys are easy to hit and spaced correctly if you are a programmer.

It uses scissor switches instead of a membrane for key action, so it feels more like laptop keys instead of mushy cheap keyboard. There's not a lot of extraneous crap and weird shapes. This one just looks and feels nice and stays out of your way. Oh, and the key numbers/letters never rub off. Good quality stuff.

Got this from Techrabbit almost exactly a year ago for $35. Great keyboard but wished the batteries lasted as long as the mk710. Quality on the k800 is far better tho
