20% off the Samsung Note 10+ is pretty sweet. Tip: Check Swappa.com to see if there are any deals on a brand new phone from a reputable seller first. I was able to get my 256GB Aura Black one for $780 with free shipping and no sales tax. Prices seem to be higher now, but may dip again because lots of BOGO promotions are becoming active in November.

I've been using the phone as my daily driver and I think it's already become my favorite smartphone of all time.

Coulndn't agree more about Note 10+. It's an awesome phone. I switched from iPhone X about 2 months ago and never looked back. Best phone I've ever used!

As for the Note 10+ from this deal... I believe the only issue with the International versions would be Samsung Pay. However, you can always use Google Pay (or whatever it's called).

I'm not a fan of Samsung phones in general because I traditionally have not liked their user interface and bloatware (I almost never use Samsung's own apps and usually use Google apps). That said, their current launcher, known as One UI, is way better than their previous Samsung Experience and TouchWiz.

Samsung Pay is the main reason why I have stuck with Samsung. (And I don't regret it, especially when the Pixel 4 doesn't seem that great.) Unlike Google Pay and Apple Pay - both of which use near-field communication (NFC) - Samsung Pay on Samsung phones also come with Magnetic Strip Technology (MST). MST allows a contactless payment to be made with terminals that do not feature NFC readers.

For example, I went to a dry cleaner that has a super old credit card reader, the type where the receipt prints from the reader. I asked the employee if he accepts mobile payments, and he laughed and said their tech is too old, but was willing to try. I tapped my phone against the reader and it was approved, and he was stunned and had to pull over a coworker to say it was a miracle. (He also briefly thought that maybe I was scamming him somehow... haha.)

We can get $200 off plus $100 off with activation on unlocked Note 10+ in Best Buy during BF. So this is not as slick.

The $100 activation means new line? Or just activate the phone with the network?

Fingerprint sensor blows on it. Next years will be the one to get.
Haven't had any issues with it on my phone. Gotta admit, the FaceID on my iPhone X was pretty good. Going back to using finger print felt like a step back, but at least for unlocking the phone, face detection works well and make things move a bit faster during day to day use.

I assume if you use the card with equal payments/ no interest for 18 months, you wont get the 20% back. Am I correct?

This is pretty much my experience every week with Samsung Pay. Works everywhere, even on really old equipment where the clerk insists that it will not work. I never carry my wallet anymore.

Are you talking about this deal? If so, the main difference is that this Amazon one does not require activation and it is on an unlocked phone.
