Good price, although you have to wonder what Ring products Amazon will offer for BF.

How good are these compared to the 2nd gen stick up cams? I have several of the stick up cams but they lack the light like this one has. Anyone know if the light can be turned on just cuz you want a light outdoor to see?

I personally own the black Spotlight Cams; the light can be turned on at will whenever you wanna take a look through the app. In addition, you can also activate a siren, speak, & set off the Ring Alarm if you have it connected. However, there is a delay if the light turns on by motion detection before the light turns on again, so there's that. You can also set it up so if you have two Spotlight Cams, both lights will activate when one senses motion. Very customizable but the motion sensing delay on the lights does get annoying at times. The light will stay on for a maximum of 30 seconds I think in any situation, but I may be wrong.

That's the stick up camera, not the outdoor one shown here

This is a good price especially with no tax. Who knows if it be lower by black Friday.

I have stick up cams outdoor and they are great. Only reason I went with the stick up cam though was because of PoE

looking back in the search history, looks like 2 packs could be had for as low as 245$... so a bit lower, if you need 2 that is.
Amazon also had them back in July for 125$... so it's a good bet it'll be somewhere around 10$ cheaper at some point over the coming holidays. BF/CM? who knows, that's just a shitshow these days... there's deals, but most things are just a shell game.

How is the battery life on these? I had the Ring doorbell 2 and the battery was atrocious. Had to get rid of it.

I get several false alerts a day (cats, mailman, swaying branches) and I get about two to three weeks out of the battery before charging. Not bad, but I'm still going to install a Ring solar panel so I don't have to climb up and change them anymore.
