Worth noting, if you have multiple things you're purchasing to get above $100, they have to be sold from the same company, otherwise Rakuten puts them into separate shopping carts, and thus separate orders which would not count toward the promotion, which is the stupidest thing I've ever seen.

at rakuten, when you shop online, you are buying from each of the hundreds of stores within rakuten. i understand the way ebay does it since there are millions of sellers but that's not necessary with rakuten.

for this mc promo, i am waiting a few more days to see if the 15% point promo will stack. unlike ebay, most merchants don't change their prices during promo time; the items that are marked up are high every day not just during promos. i have my cart ready and quantities say 15 left but i'm assuming that's the standard limit plus nobody except me is really interested in the massive deals on rakuten. Gave it a shot anyway since I don't have my card on me. Emailed them... doesn't say explicitly no Apple Pay but we'll see.

Yes, someone previously used a prepaid so I imagine debit should work too.

I use Rakuten with reputed sellers like Adorama.
Are you able to stack with regular 15% points discount code ?

same here; adorama items in my cart now, $101 worth. today, i would get $30 in points but i'm waiting for tomorrow to see if a 15% points (i.e. $15) will come down and if i end up with $45 in points. you can usually tell on checkout how many points you'll get. at this point, i dunno for sure.
