No. I mention this in every "ice" thread, you are getting what you pay for with this. Sure the ice sounds good, but when you compare it side-by-side with the Yeti or Yeti Nano, it's much more muddled/warped sounding than the Yetis, which have a much better audio quality overall.

Anyone suggest a pop filter that can be used with these types of Blue microphones?

Would this be good for recording acoustic guitar/vocals? I have an old Samson C01U that's kinda crummy that I'm looking to upgrade from without spending much.

You can buy nice microphones to attach to your headset that work just as well.

I've owned the BoomPro for a few years and it's not even close in quality to a dedicated mic. This $35 is much better spent than $30 BoomPro for PC gaming.

Quick question to recording and podcasting experts: At normal price, is the Samson 2QU or the Snowball iCE better in terms of sound quality? The omnidirectional feature is less important to me.

If you (or anyone else here, for that matter) can make use of the camera, this streamer pack deal at Best Buy (confirmed that it is live now) might be a good alternative:

Thanks, it looks like the resale value of the camera alone is ~$50 on ebay, so going for this bundle is basically getting yeti for $80-85. Definitely not the worst price, but they have been for $70-75 without any bundles before, looking at SD post history... I'd probably wait Peace

If I were to buy with the intention of also using the camera and not flipping it, should I get this bundle?

EDIT: Looking at the price history for both, the Blue Yeti has gone for as low as $68 this year and the Logitech C922 for as low as $50. That totals to $118 which is a good $12 less than this bundle excluding tax. So if you can wait or only need one of the two, this deal isn't as stellar as I thought.
