I do not have an air compressor, how much is that? laugh out loud

I have this because my dryer increasing took longer to dry our clothes - i think when it took 2+ hrs, i decided to buy this. Like another poster said, you won't believe how much you'd get.
I tried vacuum and blower (don't have air compressor), to no avail. I think my vent just had too much lint that it was pretty much blocking the air flow. I used this, and vacuum and it took me 2-3hrs to completely get through the clog. In the end, this was well worth it, dryer time took less than 1hr after.

Another benefit, you can use the rods to help you fish wires/plastic tubes behind walls!

I have this, it's especially helpful because I have a stupid roof vent that I can't get to instead of one on the side.

Anyway, it does what it says it does. It won't get your lines squeaky clean, but you'll be surprised as to what the hell was in there!

Our vent isn't too long. I was just going to use my Stihl blower. Is this thing supposed to be better than that?

Thanks to koidy, you can order from Home Depot [homedepot.com] for the same price for store pickup.

I guess if it's short and straight, a blower could work. Try your method, if it works, you can always return to Home Depot and saves 20 bucks.

I saw a video using this on one end (from dryer), and using wet/dry vac to suck the link clean from the vent. I don't have a shop vac so the lint flies everywhere. But it's not too difficult to clean up in my case.

I just had an issue with my vent, basically my dryer was blowing into a void between the first and second floor. Fixed the duct and used my Greenworks blower to clean out. It worked like a charm!

Thanks OP. I usually take our dryer apart and clean all the lint out around this time of year. Went ahead and bought one to clean out the dryer hose. Repped.
