How do you get the 4 years of warranty exactly? All Costco via card holders automatically get this?

It's $899 with "special student or military pricing", but not $300 off.

You can also get the 256GB model from costco for $950, if you have a membership.

Isn't a 256GB NVME drive about $35?

What else does the normal $300 extra add?

too bad they don't have a deal on the 16/256 model. i think for laptops you should always go for the 16gb ram. i believe you can't upgrade the ram yourself easily (or at all) on the surface laptops.

Especially for the Surface Laptop 3

All reviewers and tons of users have reported terrible performance even with 16GB of RAM with 4K video playback and basic browsing producing lag/slowdown/blue screen of death

I haven't experienced any slowdowns using it as my primary work laptop as an IT Admin. No 4K streaming though. i7/16GB/256 Win10Pro
