Great price on Consumer Reports. A couple of bucks lower than my $18 renewal off their best the last few years. Only caveat: Consumer Reports mostly covers high end retail products. Those of us who shop price closely rarely get close to the items they review or list. But, their guidance is still well worth the price. Annual book and annual car guide make the deal.

BTW : It looks like DM finally added Rolling Stone. Not a big fan of the fancy new format. Not near trashy enough of the rag I love. But, they have it at $18/year. Good price. I'm waiting to see if there going to get back to $5 deal a year. I'll do $6. No more.

Looks good. If anyone is willing to do one of those rewardsurvey from that website, you can get Men's Health for free for the year.

I have received these for free for 3+ years. It's annoying, overwhelming and exaggerating... I usually throw these on the trash

Check out Saveur magazine, and Cook's Illustrated. Both of those are more cooking/baking oriented.

Bon Apetit used to be, but their focus has shifted toward restaurant and destination reviews, more of a lifestyle magazine. The other two have kept their focus; Saveur also has articles on the origins of or nuances in some ingredients, while CI looks at techniques and tweaks, with a bent toward methodical scientific testing.

I am interested in subscribing to consumer reports. At the end of the year when this discounted price comes to an end does the subscription stops OR does it renews at retail price?

They send a ton of mailers with discounts for months leading up to expiration. It's a better deal than full retail price, but not quite as good of a deal as this.

It's been mentioned in every consumer reports deal, but no harm reminding folks in case someone is not aware — Many libraries provide online access to consumer reports for free. Just need to access through the library portal.

I refer to consumer reports a lot. Their analysis is usually thorough. I don't always agree with their final recommendations based on the analysis - but that's always subjective. Always helps to read through their reviews and make up your own mind.

But despite referring to it so much, I'm not subscribing since my local library provides access. Even if I had a subscription I would anyway only use their website instead of the print magazine.

Ditto. Great if you like print - always faster than browsing digital magazines.
Else, check library for online magazine access first.
Rewardsurvey.com for the handful of magazines you can get free from people to men's health.

My library provides it via a magazine app called Flipster, plus the portal style access.
