NO this is not a price mistake. Your order was cancelled for some other reason.

Not eligible for utility rebates until they make new firmware available for it.

Why do you say that? My utility company (ComEd) just needs it to be energy star rated and you can get a $75 rebate.

Huh? I bought this at Costco recently and got my rebate on my bill already.

I'm planning to return it though and get the latest model from Edison market place for $150. Mainly since the sensor has a longer range on the new mode.

Read the utilities listing though, if it's like edison the price is $200 and they are giving you an instant $50 rebate.

You are correct. I used an old account to purchase a new membership. They had my old address on file and since it was different then my current address they canceled my membership and any subsequent orders. They could not help me over the phone and told me to go to a store to fix the membership issue. Well, I just created a new account with a new membership and placed the order.

If you are an SCE customer, and buy from them you can get the newer Ecobee5 - EB-STATE5-01 - for $149 w/1 sensor and it has a $50 rebate from them so you'd pay $99.

Whereas they are selling the Ecobee4 - EB-STATE4-01 - for $199 w/1 sensor also with a $50 rebate so you pay $149, so it would be cheaper if you want the 4 & not the 5 to buy it from CostCo and then apply for the $50 SCE rebate to end up with the cheaper price.

If you are only looking to upgrade your thermostat and want to be able to control it from your phone, SCE has the older Ecobee3 Lite w/o any sensors for $89 and the $50 rebate so you'd end up paying $39.

With any of them, or with some other brands, if you sign up giving them the ability to turn off your A/C if your area is showing a high demand they'll give you and extra $25 rebate, and if you are a SoCalGas customer they'll give you an additional $75 rebate for a total of $125-$150 applied to your bill as credits.

Will Costco give any credit back if bought at 169 a few weeks ago?
