Note: This is an excellent deal if your system only takes SATA or it only has SATA ports left, but far faster 2TB NVMe drives can often be had for $200 and under.

Do not buy anything from new egg.
Last thanks giving i bought
https://www.newegg.com/p/0UH-005F...J7Y8DN9297

When i bought it says it has 1 year warranty. And product is not working now. So i called them newegg representative confirm that listing page says it has 1 year manufacture warranty, and he send message to the 3rd party seller. No respond for 2 days today i called newegg and they said page do not have warranty info.

When i call first time I asked representative to email me to confirm that it has 1 year warranty. i have proof of it. But Newegg is not help you if it sold by 3rd party

Fake company and fake product.
Beware of newegg

Newegg didn't manufacturer the vac. A Chinese factory did. You need to hunt down the factory. eBay is not responsible for honoring warranties on everything sold on their site. Neither is Walmart. They are only responsible for the return period. After that, you are on your own.

No you are not. Amazon is only responsible for a return period. Unless you buy an Amazon branded item, like Amazon Basics batteries, you get 30 days to return something. You may need to join Costco with your expectations. And even then, put a Square Trade warranty on everything. Or learn how to fix things yourself.

I don't think you understand how manufacturer's warranties work.

The retailer is never ever responsible for them. Once you are outside your return period, you are supposed to go to the manufacturer. If you read the manual or warranty info for most products from reputable companies, they explicitly say do not return to the store if you have a problem, contact them directly.

Amazon has no mechanism for returns outside of the return period, their web system doesn't even allow it. The button is greyed out if you look at past purchases beyond the return period. Perhaps they have a longer return period and that's certainly a plus, but it has absolutely nothing to do with the warranty.

Amazon's return policy is 30 days from receipt of the item (i.e.- the day it was delivered not the date purchased), however you have until January 31st for holiday time purchases (between 11/1 and 12/31). There are a handful of other exceptions. Amazon renewed has a 90 day return window. And they seem to bend over backwards if you buy from 3rd party sellers. But for new items sold by Amazon most of the year, it's a 30 day return window and then you go to the manufacturer. You should buy items based on manufacturer's reputation, not the retailer's.

Agree,

But after sending message 3 days ago, if 3rd party do not care to respond your message, Amazon intervene and make sure do things right. Here Newegg don't give a shit about it.

That is the reason i am saying not to buy from newegg.

That's the point, NOT sold by Newegg - it's their MarketPlace.

SO they didn't offer it, you bought from a third party - most CC's extend the wty so get them to honor the wty.

Roll
did you check the return policy? that should be your first clue
