More than worth it for the sheets alone.

I am very tempted to get this. I don't play/collect Pokémon cards and neither does my son. He just got into the show and I'm pretty sure he's not yet aware of a trading card game (or video games) associated with it. But I figure it's only a matter of time before that happens and this might be a worthwhile buy.

I was thinking about buying this for my collection of early cards. The reviews don't seem to be very encouraging , apparently it's cheap for a reason

Pokemon TCG is fun but it is a huge money sink. You can play online for free on their official website [pokemon.com]or maybe get him into handheld games instead if you want to be frugal.
If you don't mind any of that, definitely checkout a nearby Pokemon League [pokemon.com] People are generally nice to newcomers. Mostly older folk and milennials in my area that go to these things, but there should be a group of kids that show up for your son to play with.

Thanks for the suggestions.
I was into MTG in high school and I definitely saw some people that threw way too much money at it.
I am a little conflicted between having him get into a TCG, which can be - like you said - a money sink and seems like an IRL pay-to-win model, but has a nice social aspect to it; and handheld games, which are less social and less of a 'share-able' experience (with me). Not to mention the potential recurring cost of new handheld consoles as older ones are abandoned.

I was actually looking at all different binders and read the review; and all of them are with some issue... I'm guessing $15 is worth it for this no matter how cheap condition it might be unless you want to spend whole lot of money to get better ones but I'm not willing to spend that much... so, it's worth it for me at this price.

Just as I expected, this is Amazon matching Walmart. Grabbing from Walmart for the pickup. Anything on Amazon ending in such a weird value as .22 likely isn't a price that came up with.

If you're trying to protect cards, I would suggest getting side loader pocket sheets and a binder that zips so that it protects against humidity. However, I do like the OG charizard photo printed on this binder!
